Why do I never exceed 10% of my account for each position?

Many people believe that when they see a good opportunity, they should heavily invest in it to easily make a fortune.
But as time goes on, I increasingly insist on a small detail:
The position for each order should never exceed 10% of the total funds in the account.
The reason is simple and very realistic:
• First, even when the market is good, there are times when mistakes happen.
Even if you see clearly, not every trade can go all the way. If you are heavily invested, a single stop-loss could be a serious injury. A lighter position at least leaves you room to turn around.
• Secondly, the account should be able to withstand consecutive stop losses.
It's not about being afraid of losing a single trade, it's about being afraid of consecutive losses. With a small position, even if there are two or three consecutive stop losses, the account can still bear it, and emotions won't explode.
• Third, a lighter position allows for a purer execution of the script.
The position is heavy, and every fluctuation feels like it’s pulling at your heartbeat. With a light position, you can truly follow the plan, taking profits and cutting losses, without making random changes or panicking.
My rhythm is very simple:
For example, if the total account balance is 20,000 U, each position opening amount is controlled within 2,000 U, even if there is a particularly good structure, it will not actively increase to 15%-20%. Only after the market runs and there is floating profit will it consider partially increasing the position to follow up, but it will never start off with a high frequency.

Making money from contracts has never relied on a single heavy position for wealth.
But it relies on a hundred calm, gradual, and steady efforts to accumulate slowly.

If you often lose control of your emotions because of a large Position,
You might as well try starting from the next order:
First, reduce the Position to 10%. Even if the market is good, only do what you can manage steadily.
Moving steadily is more important than anything else. $BTC
