Bloomberg: Bitmain plans to establish its first factory in the United States.
On July 29, according to Bloomberg, Bitmain Technologies Ltd., the world's largest cryptocurrency mining rig manufacturer, plans to open its first factory in the United States in the coming months. This is a strategic transformation to align with the "Made in America" trend for digital assets. According to Irene Gao, head of global business at Bitmain, the company plans to officially establish a new headquarters and assembly line in Texas or Florida by the end of the third quarter of 2025. The first batch of production is expected to start in early 2026, followed by a gradual ramp-up to full-scale production within the year.
