A Golden Finance report states that according to an official announcement, the Eigen Foundation has granted AltLayer 1 million EIGEN Tokens. AltLayer stated that it will directly use the Tokens to give back to the community. The first batch of 500,000 EIGEN Tokens will be distributed to reALT support and stakers starting from this week. The remaining 500,000 EIGEN Tokens will be distributed in 2025 when the V2 reward mechanism of Eigen Layer goes live on its main network.
