Ethereum currently faces a limitation of about 20 transactions per second (TPS), which can lead to high fees during network congestion, hindering developers from building high-performance applications. Nibiru EVM effectively overcomes this bottleneck by providing a throughput of over 10,000 TPS, even under single-thread execution.
The Nibiru project plans to upgrade the network by the end of 2024, introducing a mechanism for parallel optimistic execution to process transactions. This will enable nodes to fully utilize additional hardware resources, further enhancing the network's transaction processing capabilities.
