Aptos, 80 billion yen in real-world assets (RWA) TVL, surged 56% in 30 days.

## RWA assets surge

According to a report on the 8th, the Layer 1 blockchain Aptos has achieved rapid growth in the real-world asset (RWA) sector, with its Total Value Locked (TVL) increasing by 56.28% over the past 30 days, reaching 80 billion yen (approximately $540 million). This growth has established Aptos as the third position in the RWA sector, following Ethereum and ZKsync Era.

The breakdown of tokenized assets on Aptos includes approximately $420 million in private credit, around $87 million in U.S. Treasury bonds, and about $30 million in alternative funds for institutional investors. It appears that the expansion of blockchain technology adoption by asset management companies is driving this growth.

The entry of major issuers, such as BlackRock's BUIDL fund and Franklin Templeton's on-chain US government money fund, contributes to growth. These funds for institutional investors have reached a scale of over $30 million on Aptos.

Additionally, the announcement of the decentralized hot storage network "Shelby" developed by Aptos Labs and Jump Crypto is further supporting growth.

Shelby supports applications that require high-speed data processing, such as real-time video streaming, generative AI, and decentralized social networks (DePIN). While traditional decentralized storage has been specialized in static storage, it is built on the premise of sub-second (less than 1 second) response times and integration with smart contracts.

Furthermore, on June 20, the Wyoming state government announced the selection of Aptos and Sui for the pilot program of the state-issued stablecoin "WYST". Aptos received the highest score of 32 points in an evaluation targeting over 10 blockchains, demonstrating superiority in network stability and transaction performance.
